In May of 2018 I launched my first ever, very own podcast, The Bits & Bytes of Education. Producing a bi-weekly podcast has been an exciting challenge for me. Between finding guests, coming up with original content, and trying to sound like I know what I'm talking about, I have learned so much and pushed myself to try new things share my voice in a new way.
A hat tip is in order for my good friend Chris Nesi who, just a few weeks prior, interviewed his own first grade son, Miles, on his podcast The House of Edtech. As soon as I listened to that episode I immediately felt the need to have Giuliana on The Bits & Bytes of Education.
So here comes the challenge...
If you are an educational podcaster, have your own personal kid or kids on your show. Talk about their views of education. What do they like? What do they think needs to change? Let's amplify the voices of our own kiddos to share student perspectives on the air waves!
If you don't have a podcast, don't let that stop you from from sharing your kiddo's voice (or kiddos' voices). Post a video to Facebook, Instagram, and/or Twitter. Record an audio conversation, upload it to Google Drive, and share it on your blog or social media. Whatever you do, get those voices out there and add to the conversation. Tag your posts #edupodcastchallenge to share them with the world!

This challenge is something that I want to go through. I am sure that there are people who are going to breakdown from this, but still, I want to do this. Of course, the challenge of life is not that easy to go up against, but that is what we have to do. I really hope that you are not someone who is going to break down from something like this. I feel like we can all win at life as long as we try.
